The Baronial Crest is a raven perched on knot work, above an argent (white) chevron on a sable (black) field. The raven stands for divine providence and one of an enduring constancy of nature. Sable and argent imply consistencey and purity, while the chevron device is used to denote protection. Following the final death of the Countess Frederick, Baroness Portia Kent was named Countess Regent until the Late Countess Baeyear's heir can assume the title.
