A brief geography of the fey planes
Part One
For the extra planar traveler

The gateways in each province can be used for travel to any of the three planes in the same province. Thus, one could travel from Sen magh to Tir Duin, but not from Sen Magh to Tir na n’Og. The main gateway in Caerlias, the Court Keep located in the Middle of Magh Mor has been known to allow travel to any of the other keeps, but is not reliable for those who do not know the way, and people have been known to become lost in the space between the gates for years.

The Tree of Life, which serves as a gateway to the mortal world has also been known to place travelers on Tir annomain or Tir Tagiri rather than on Magh Mor which is its most usual destination. We are unsure at this time whether this occurrence has anything to do with the intent of the traveler or not.

The most accessilbe plane is Mach Mor, therefore we have included a brief sketch o fthe main keep and the four provincial keeps contained therein:

a. Caerlias: Located in the middle of the plane, it is the largest of all the keeps and the home of all court activities. Those traveling to Caerlias may find the guard outside inhospitable, but those who have gained entrance will find all the courtiers most pleasant and accommodating. Most of the gentry do not frequent Caerlias unless they are attending Court matters or Court feast.

b. Sen Magh: The Battle Raven runs a tight household in the northlands. The main city, Falias, is governed by a lovely woman Morfessa. Travelers will find a thriving community of fighters and rogues which form the Red Branch of the Fianna. The Battle Raven also houses a large body of scribes and those with writing skills will find her to be quite welcoming.

c. Magh Argentel: Gorias, the city of the province is governed by a man called Esras who has served the Lord of the Sun for many years. The primary citizens of the province are those who study celestial magic and those who are interested in the ways to slay undead. The Silver Branch of the Fianna are based out of the Lord of the Sun’s lands.

d. Magh Mell: The best smiths and smithies are located in Finias, the main city of the province. The Finias is governed by Uscias. The Smith Lord commands his citizens well, helping them produce the weaponry used by the Fianna.

e. Magh Imchuinn: The Lady of the Cauldron resides in this beautiful province by the sea. Its fertile lands are governed by Senias who is in charge, also, of the main city Morias. The Green Branch of the Fianna, primarily healers, train in this lovely town. Alchenists will find a warm welcome, as will bards, whom the lady entertains often.
