Llangollen's boundaries encompass the village of Zanor and a portion of the Gallyamath Forest. The fief was named after one of the heroes of Tyrangel, Deimos Llangollen, who died fighting the forces of the Harbingers.

Zanor

Zanor is a small village on the coast of the Fellmist Sea. As the largest holding in Llangollen, it serves as the capital of the fief. They barter with the privateers on Lauretti for miscellaneous goods. Several merchant caravans come through Zanor to purchase these goods and the surplus alchemical elixirs produced by the apothecary. The woods north of the village provide the herbalists with the needed supplies.

Braden Mansion, in Zanor, has been reopened as the headquarters of the Hawk's Healers. The earth circle within also functions as the town's Healers' Guild. Also located within Zanor's walls is the Baeyear Home, established in honor of Countess Amaris Baeyear Blackwind, it is a place for displaced children. Included within the Home is a school. The curriculum includes reading and writing, mathematics, and history. Children under the age of 13 are expected to attend classes 6 days out 7, though only half days during harvest.

Construction has just finished on Zanor's wall. It's 3 gates (Wood Gate, City Gate, and Tanners' Gate), are supervised by members of the Town Guard, led by Captain Zachary Strome. Now that the village is safer from attacks by wandering monsters or brigands, construction has begun the rebuilding of the residential areas wracked by the Plague War.

Goods and services available in Zanor

The Seagate Inn - Run by Goodman Carevan and his wife Sorka and located right off the docks. Catering mainly to the sailors and townsmen, the Seagate also offers rooms to rent to travelers.

Glunyc Stables - Offers long term stabling for horses who's owners have taken ship. In cooperation with Countess Amaris, Glunyc is beginning a breeding program for courier horses.

Butcher - Used to dealing more in the sea's livestock than the land's, Lawren and Brylla provide the sailors and Baeyear Keep with the majority of their provisions.

Hawk's Nest - Formerly the Braden Manor, and home of Zanor's earth circle, this is the headquarters of the Hawk's Healers.

Trading Post - Zanor's merchants area. Goods from all over the known world can be found in the bazaar. Privateers out of Lauretti often sell their miscellaneous goods to the Trading Post.

The Armory - While there isn't much call in Zanor for weapons and armor, that hasn't stopped Yrodd and Reana Blackhammer from keeping their smithy open. Their work is excellent; a fine example of dwarven craftsmanship.

Smithy - Memyr and Cora might lack the skills to forge weapons of war, their are fully capable to make the tools of peace. Memyr makes the day to day necessities of life. Cora is a farrier and does some silversmithing.

Rumyr's Bakery - The focal point of the lives of the children of Zanor is Rumyr's free samples. However, the baleful glare of Nolyan, Rumyr's wife, keeps them from abusing his generosity.

Locksmith - Yrgewyn and Merin craft locks and alarms for the homes and businesses of Zanor.

Candler - Caredry provides the candles and lanterns for the homes and business. His surplus is sold at the Trading Post

Seamstress - Aevyan is the local seamstress, along with her apprentice, Cossa Rumyrsdotter.

Apothecary - Easily the largest alchemical storehouse in the Vale, Zanor's apothecary provides the Town Guard with the alchemcy that almost all of them can use. Nothing lights up Carebryn's face brighter than the green cloud caused by the Town Guard repelling a band of brigands.

Glazers - Not too far outside of the village is a white sand pit, perfect for making glass. Cillyra Warrensdotter and her children work to perfect the glazers art of making clear glass panes, goblets, and jewelry.

Tannery - Vyn Glaerson runs the tannery. An unpopular choice of profession due to the smell tanning leather produces, but a welcome addition to Zanor's tight knit community. Vyn's wife, Brealla, makes leather armor.

Lumbermill - With the resources of the Gallyamath, Vic Warrenson runs a very profitable business. Improvements around the Vale will always call for lumber.

Paper - Zanor's newest occupation, the making of paper.
